West Virgina Loan Forgiveness Programs

Program: State Loan Repayment Program

• Amount: Up to $90,000
• Description:  This program is for primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dentists, and nurse midwives who practice a two-year commitment in a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) in West Virginia including federally qualified health clinics with option for additional two-year commitment. You get $40,000 for the initial two year commitment, and an additional $25,000 for each optional additional two-year commitment, up to a total of $90,000 in loan forgiveness.
